Website Maintenance

All services are included under our maintenance plan. For non-maintenance plan clients, we offer edits and hands-on technical support for an hourly rate.

Edits

We will make any number of edits to a client’s website after it has been completed, including changes to copy, images, and minor layout changes. Major layout changes or new pages may require additional payment.
Technical Support

To ensure satisfactory performance, we are available during business hours to promptly answer any client questions and to apply fixes after launch.
Domain & Hosting

Included in the cost of our maintenance plan are all necessary fees for hosting and continued domain registration. Upon cancellation, we will transfer ownership of both to the client.
SEO Audits

For clients on our maintenance plan, we provide monthly SEO audits to determine how well their website is ranking on SERPs and to identify any problems and fix them.
Backups

We keep local and cloud backups for all of our websites to ensure they can be fully restored in the case of data loss.

We optimize every factor we can to enable our websites to rank as high on Google and other search engines as possible. To do this, we focus on meeting or exceeding Google’s Core Web Vitals and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guidelines, which include keywords, meta tags, code structure/semantics, mobile responsiveness, loading speed, and more.

By maximizing performance in these on-page SEO metrics, not only is a higher search engine rank achieved from day one, but the effects of off-page SEO and marketing efforts are also amplified.
Copywriting

“Copy” includes all headings, body paragraphs, and other text that exist on a website. We craft our copy entirely with client branding, audience, and SEO in mind to maximize viewer retention and conversions.

Our writing tone and personality are determined by client branding, while content is determined by popular search terms to effectively target potential customers, speak to their interests, and motivate them to act. By writing high quality copy, we also communicate to Google and other search engines exactly what the business does and which keywords their website should rank for.
Technology

For the technical aspects of our website, we opt for full control over every aspect by writing the code by hand. Although it takes more time and expertise, this method results in much better performance and longevity than Wordpress, Wix, and other page builders are capable of.

More specifically, we code what are called “static websites” with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The word “static” refers to the fact that their pages don’t need to be regenerated for every new visitor, and are instead immediately made available.

By contrast, “dynamic” websites, such as those made by Wordpress, must take the time to fully regenerate pages each time a new user connects. This process increases loading times significantly, especially on slow connections, and is entirely unnecessary unless every user needs to see a different page.
